Istrana at the Polish Chamber of Offshore Wind Energy Industry

29–30 października w Gdańsku odbyła się 14. edycja konferencji PIMEW – Polish Offshore Wind Industry Chamber, jedno z najważniejszych wydarzeń branży morskiej energetyki wiatrowej w Polsce. W trakcie konferencji Lech Paszkowski, CEO Istrana, wziął udział w panelu poświęconym kluczowym inwestycjom w krajowy łańcuch dostaw.

Podczas dyskusji Lech przedstawił najnowsze informacje dotyczące realizacji terminalu T5 – strategicznej inwestycji dedykowanej obsłudze projektów offshore:

  • zakończono prace palowe przy obudowie terminala T5 w zakresie nabrzeży outbound, inbound, ro-ro i tymczasowego,
  • dostarczono już 3 z 3,3 mln metrów sześciennych piasku, potrzebnych do utworzenia 21 hektarów nowego nabrzeża,
  • przyjmowane są dostawy kruszywa, które odpowiada wymogom specjalistycznej nawierzchni terminalu na potrzeby MEW.
  • zakończenie budowy T5 planowane jest na III kwartał 2026 roku, a pierwsze komponenty offshore zaczną napływać na przełomie 2026/2027 roku.

On October 29–30, Gdańsk hosted the 14th edition of the PIMEW (Polish Offshore Wind Industry Chamber) conference, one of the most important events in the offshore wind energy industry in Poland. During the conference, Lech Paszkowski, CEO of Istrana, took part in a panel discussion on key investments in the domestic supply chain.

During the discussion, Lech presented the latest information on the implementation of the T5 terminal – a strategic investment dedicated to servicing offshore projects:

  • piling work on the T5 terminal enclosure has been completed for the outbound, inbound, ro-ro, and temporary quays,
  • 3 of the 3.3 million cubic meters of sand needed to create 21 hectares of new quayside have already been delivered,
  • and deliveries of aggregate that meets the requirements of the terminal’s specialized surface for MEW needs are being accepted.
  • Completion of T5 construction is planned for the third quarter of 2026, and the first offshore components will begin to arrive at the turn of 2026/2027.
